May 2024 – All Eyes On Africa

This month, the spotlight is shining on INC Africa which has been busy with a variety of activities. Marking the opening of the third INC division in South Africa back in May 2021, the team celebrated their third anniversary this month. The offices in Johannesburg and Cape Town celebrated with cupcakes and bubbly, toasting the teams’ dedication and hard work, which have enabled the INC Group to grow stronger and achieve new milestones.

Celebrating Africa Day

On the 25th of May, INC Africa joined the entire African continent in celebrating Africa Day. The team marked the occasion by preparing delicious local cuisine and dressing in traditional national attire.

On our social media channels, we reflected on some of our past projects that have embodied African design elements. From incorporating rattan and diverse wood textures to maximizing natural light, and tall windows, these projects are located across the UAE and Africa.

‘Get Moving’ Strava Challenge

In November 2023, the INC Group launched its Wellness Committee.

To recap “The committee, which was requested by employees across INC Group’s three divisions, is tasked with developing a strategy around well-being and happiness, initiating supportive monthly programs that will be integrated into the organization. Topics will include but are not limited to physical, mental, and financial health in line with our commitment to strengthen our social standards within ESG.”

This month, INC Africa completed its first committee activity with a ‘Get Moving’ Strava challenge where employees were challenged to either walk or run 120km in 90 days. Kamogelo Seageng from their design department was the first to complete this challenge.

The team have now started their second challenge, upping the distance to 150km, from 1st May to 31st July.
